Meerkats & Avatars 2011
INNOVATION MEDIA EVENT AND PITCHING SESSION
Entrepreneurs with innovative technologies or nearmarket products are invited to participate in Meerkats and Avatars 2011, a day of demonstrations giving early-stage companies the chance promote themselves to potential investors and the media.
Meerkats and Avatars is organised by St. John’s Innovation Centre and supported by the ideaSpace Enterprise Accelerator Funding Programme.
Participants will demonstrate their technology to journalists, investors, partners and early adopters. In the past, demonstrations have included prototype devices, interactive videos, online demos, and even live animals!
Previous events have been attended by journalists from a wide range of print, broadcast and online media outlets, resulting in relevant coverage for the demonstrators.
Six companies will also be given the chance to present an elevator pitch to a panel of investors.
The event will take place on 6th December 2011 at St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Rd, Cambridge.
