A practical Communication & PR workshop organised by St John’s Innovation Centre

Positive media coverage is a cost-effective ways to attract the interest of potential customers, partners and investors. When managed successfully it can provide invaluable third party endorsement for early-stage businesses and build confidence in your products and services.

Free PR workshops run by St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, will provide a hands-on practical session to help entrepreneurs improve their own communication. Each workshop will cover preparing persuasive positioning statements, identifying key audiences, creating strong press releases and raising profile with the media.

The workshops are suitable for anyone who is new to media and public relations with a product or service-based business they want to promote.

Dates

The workshops will be tailored to each partner for example, wireless technology or engineering, however, the principles of media relations are widely applicable.

October 10 9.30 – 11.30 in association with and held at Harlow Enterprise Hub

October 18 16.00 – 18.00 in association with and held at One Nucleus and the Babraham Institute. Suitable for medical device and service companies.

October 31 16.00 – 18.00 in association with and held at Hethel Engineering Centre

November 14 16.00 – 18.00 in association with Cambridge Cleantech, to be held at St John’s Innovation Centre
