Objective:

Technology start-up True Knowledge had created an online ‘answer engine’ that could provide accurate responses to questions phrased in natural English. When the company emerged from ‘stealth mode’, they wanted to attract expert users to beta test the system and provide feedback to aid development.

Strategy:

We engaged with online communities and bloggers writing about web technologies and semantic search, to drive applications for beta test accounts. Key bloggers and journalists were given priority access in order to ensure online coverage.

Outcome:

Extensive online coverage was achieved on blogs and websites including TechCrunch, and AltSearchEngines. True Knowledge received thousands of beta account applications within a few days of the launch.
